Requirements:
- 2-4 years of UX research experience in product development
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, HCI, or a related field
- Experience with both generative and evaluative research studies
- Strong portfolio showcasing how your research has influenced product decisions
- Proficiency in UX research tools (e.g., UserZoom, UserTesting.com, Qualtrics)
- Must be located within commuting distance of Cincinnati, Ohio

As a UX Designer at Openfield, you will be responsible for creating designs with a superior level of exploration that respond to user needs and open the door to additional research learnings. You will ensure that all requirements are met during the design phase. A great UX Designer will understand how and why accessibility is imperative to successful EdTech products, and back their designs with data.
You will work closely with the Researchers and other UX Designers to design world-class experiences for our clients. You will be supported by the UX, Research, and Accessibility Leads for guidance and growth.

As a Senior UX Researcher at Openfield, you will be responsible for translating findings from observation and feedback into compelling recommendations and next steps that highlight user motivations and help stakeholders make decisions confidently. You will have strategic awareness of the product planning process so that you can advocate for the most effective and efficient ways to address research goals while minimizing bias. A great Researcher will feel comfortable questioning internal and external objectives, findings, and research interpretations to help create stronger research. They will also be constantly looking for ways to learn about and apply new research methodologies to elevate our process and work product.
You will work closely with the Project Leads and other Researchers to create world class experiences for our clients. You will report to the Research Lead, but also work with the Design Lead and Accessibility Lead.
